Job Description
The incumbent shall be responsible for:
- Handling and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, verifying invoices, preparation of general vouchers, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of financial vouchers in the accounting system (Quick Book) and filing of all relevant documents.
- Preparation of Bank Reconciliation and coordinating with bank.
- Preparation of monthly Grant Variance Reports.
- Preparation of withholding tax sheets, submission of Withholding Income Tax returns, EOBI and PF to relevant authorities on monthly basis.
- To process monthly payroll
- Preparing petty cash general vouchers, physical cash counting and reconciling it with system, withdrawing cash from bank for admin and patient expenses.
- Maintaining Fixed Asset register, allocating fixed asset codes to newly purchased assets.
- Securing financial information by completing data base backups.
- Verifying vehicle meter reading on random basis.
- Preparing grant financial reports as and when required.
- Facilitating external auditors during financial audit.
- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
- Any other task assigned by CFO/secretary to BoT and Finance Sub-Committee
